Conductor’s Director of Operations
Summary: The Conductor’s Director of Operations position is an opportunity to invigorate central Arkansas’ entrepreneurial ecosystem as a leader on the Conductor team. The Director of Operations will guide the strategy and execution of Conductor and Makerspace events and programming, and will collaborate closely with entrepreneurs and stakeholders to cultivate an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem. This position will be empowered to design and develop new and innovative programming and approaches to reach entrepreneurs across central Arkansas. The Director of Operations will work with the Conductor team to change lives through entrepreneurship in central Arkansas and beyond.
Reports to: CEO

Skills: Understanding of the entrepreneurial and maker movements; ability to think outside the box and dream big; passion for educating the community on entrepreneurship/innovation; ability to take initiative and work with autonomy.
Overseeing all aspects of Conductor events from concept, to execution, to follow-ups with attendees (including promotions, logistical support, A/V, etc.).
Ensuring the quality and excellence of all Conductor offerings.
Strategizing the future of the Conductor’s reach throughout central Arkansas.
Overseeing all Conductor operations (including Makerspace and Conductor operations).
Collaborate closely with the Conductor team and entrepreneurs to ensure events/programs are produced with excellence.
Must be able to juggle multiple projects/programs at one time.
Identifying and targeting areas in which the Conductor can innovate.
Must be comfortable with public speaking and event production.
Must work within the parameters of a budget.
Proficiency Google Drive
Proficiency in Google Sheets (data collection, tracking and analysis)
Proficiency in Eventbrite, Canva
Proficiency in social media marketing
Ability to work under tight deadlines

The Conductor, a public-private partnership between the University of Central Arkansas and Startup Junkie, provides entrepreneurial support through consulting, mentorship, access to capital, and maker training and rapid prototyping in a free-of-charge Makerspace.
