About Charles Morgan:

Charles D. Morgan is the visionary former Chairman and CEO of Acxiom Corporation, world leaders in data
gathering and its accompanying technology, with 1500 separate pieces of information on some half a billion
people around the globe. Now Chairman and CEO of his latest tech venture, First Orion, Morgan reveals his post-retirement start-up success story in a new book, Now What? The Biography of a (Finally) Successful Startup. The work of First Orion was recently highlighted in Time, USA Today, CNET, Washington Post,
CBS News, Inc., Fortune, New York Post, and The London Daily Mail.

He also held various leadership positions with the direct marketing association (DMA). Morgan
currently serves on the board of trustees of Inuvo, Inc., and was recently bestowed the 2018
Lifetime Achievement Award from Marketing EDGE. His dedication to the future of data science
is steadfast; today he is leading the efforts of the Arkansas Center for Data Sciences, a public-
private partnership devoted to upgrading the real-world computer and data analytic skills of the
Arkansas workforce.

His first book, Matters of Life and Data: The Remarkable Journey of a Big Data Visionary
Whose Work Impacted Millions (Including You), was published by Morgan James Publishing in
2015, and was Number 1 on Amazon’s Kindle Store/Business & Money/Industries/Information

The book elicited rave reviews from many business and political leaders, including Harry
Gambill, former CEO of the credit bureau TransUnion (“The book is like reading Atlas Shrugged,
Peyton Place and the best of Car and Driver all rolled into one…Written by a true legend of the
Big Data movement.”) and General Wesley Clark, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander,
Europe, and erstwhile presidential candidate (“Charles Morgan tells how companies are built and
wealth is created. It’s a story as American as apple pie – and proof again that America is rich in
talent beyond her elite universities and privileged families.”).

A gadget geek from childhood, Morgan has raced motorcycles, flown jets, and built and driven his own racecars in a professional career that includes victories at both the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Daytona, along with 17 other wins.

Charles D. Morgan lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his wife, Susie. For more information,
