Accelerator Program Officer

The Conductor is an entrepreneurial support organization that aims to empower and support entrepreneurs through innovative community programming. The Accelerator Program Officer facilitates the Rural Growth Accelerator to assist small businesses in rural communities. The Accelerator Program Officer should have extensive experience either starting a company or serving in a leadership capacity. The Rural Growth Accelerator is a multi-week program that is administered to a cohort of CEOs. The curriculum will be provided, but the Accelerator Program Officer should be knowledgeable in business creation and operation to help answer questions and lead discussions. 

The Accelerator Program Officer will have a two county service area in the Central Arkansas region. Participating counties include: Pope, Yell, Johnson, Logan, Pulaski, Lonoke, White, Van Buren, Cleburne, White, and Conway.


  • Facilitate growth accelerator to rural CEOs.

  • Lead impactful dialogue about startups.

  • Frequent communication with CEO participants to maintain momentum.

  • Participate in regular Accelerator Program Officer training in Conway, Arkansas.

Applicants should possess the following skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of business processes and best practices

  • Knowledge of common challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs

  • Personable and friendly

  • Strong communication skills

  • Organized

  • Self motivated

  • Flexible

  • Familiar with Google Docs, Slack, Email, Social Media

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time, flexible schedule

  • Occasional evenings

  • May include occasional travel
