UCA's Makerspace, powered by the Conductor, is a place for students & community members to make, design and dream.

Our Mission

UCA's Makerspace, powered by the Conductor, is a collaborative, interdisciplinary work space with tools to prototype concepts, make new things, and take ideas to the next level. The Makerspace is a free, shared space open to people of all ages, from all disciplines. The space is equipped with six 3D printers, a laser cutter, CNC machine, routers and other digital fabrication tools, and offers Maker Trainings, classes, access to expert mentors and top-of-the-line equipment to cater to the central Arkansas community.

Where to Start

Getting access to the Makerspace is easy and free, and the space is open to everyone in the community. For your safety and the safety of others, users must complete a brief Maker Training Session to gain access to the Makerspace and its equipment.

The Maker Training Workshops are every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Spaces are limited in the Maker Trainings. RSVP to reserve your spot.
