Certified Maker Mentors
The Makerspace Mentors are subject matter experts who are passionate about the Maker Movement and giving back to their local maker communities. Mentors are excited about sharing their expertise with students and the community in UCA’s Makerspace.
Professionals with a considerable amount of experience in a making-, engineering-, science-, or art-related field.
Not open to students.

Can be onboarded on a rolling basis.
All Certified Maker Mentors will receive a badge granting them access to the Makerspace 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Host quarterly Maker Master Classes for the campus and community on different subject matters (i.e. Arduino, CDC, robotics, etc.).
Hold open office hours (as little as 5 a month) to give guidance to students and the community.
Will participate in monthly/bi-weekly meetups in the Makerspace (Maker Lunches, etc.).
Mentors’ bios and headshots will be on website. Bios will highlight the area of study.
